Nice to meet you!

Growing up with a chef mother & a father who travelled often for work, I was very lucky to have a home always filled with delicious, worldly food. My mum was true foodie; I honestly think we had more cookbooks than bricks in that house! Cooking together was our love language & the kitchen quickly became a space where I felt calm & connected to others.

At the age of 12, I became vegetarian & in a household of meat-eaters this meant cooking many of my own meals from a young age. But I didn’t mind - in fact, I loved it! So much so that by 16, I sought out my first job in a vegetarian kitchen (Terre à Terre, Brighton UK) - beginning what would become over a decade of work in both professional & community kitchens.

Each of these kitchens grew my appreciation for the power of food - for health, joy, community & culture. For me, cooking is a daily practice of curiosity, presence, and care & it’s such a pleasure to share it with others.

As a yoga teacher & Vipassana student, I’ve attended many retreats myself and know just how important food can be to the experience - so I decided to get involved!

My cooking is inspired by community, colour, the seasons, and kind nutrition. I love finding the divine in humble ingredients and always prioritise organic, local produce where possible (oh, and I love fermenting!)
